Club Xes announces the arrival of top international DJ Pete Martine for our Friday night residency. He is a legend in dance music with a reputation for DJing, production and remixing putting him at the forefront of UK dance music. Residencies have included Part II Club, the Astoria (Nottingham), The Club (Nottingham), Nightingale (Birmingham) as well as in the USA, Dubai, the Far East, Australia and Ibiza.

He became known as 'The Man with the Divas' producing Vicki Shepard, ex-Weather Girl Jeanie Tracy and Carol Leeming. His collaboration with Paul Masterson resulted in chart hits like 'Sex', Ibiza anthem 'Let's Whip It Up (You Go Girl) and 'Work It Up and Wear It Out'. He continued as The Sleazesisters with fellow DJ Porl Young remixing Samantha Mumba's 'Gotta Tell U', Anastacia's 'I'm Outta Love' and most famously, Steps' 'Deeper Shade of Blue'. In recent years he reinvented himself as Starlet DJs with the massive radio hit 'Can't Stop Dancin'' and achieved dance credibility remixing Meck's 'Thunder In My Heart'. Over the years Pete's been heard on Radio 1 shows from Judge Jules, Dave Pearce and Pete Tong.

Now he arrives at Club Xes, Sheffield's oldest gay venue, for a regular Friday night slot. Join him and hundreds of others from midnight every week!
